Anishinabek Mathematics

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9 am - 11:50 am

Students explore key mathematical concepts through an Anishinabek lens.  Through land-based learning, students are introduced to Anishinabek concepts of relationality within the context of mathematics, and other key Anishinabek principles.  Anishinabek knowledge from a practical application stance enables the students to connect theory to their experiential learning.  This land-based course is offered in the traditional territory of Nipissing First Nation.
