This offering is perfect for ages: 18+

This course introduces students to the spiritual dimensions of palliative care with focused attention to social justice issues for the dying. We explore how the medical model, technology, cultural death denial and other barriers such as racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, and homophobia impact good end-of-life care.

This course will be offered online from January 6 to March 31, 2026. Class will be on Tuesdays from 9:00 - 11:30 am; the classes will be recorded and students will have access to the course readings and slides.

Upon completion of the course, students will receive a digital badge and certificate of completion.
