This camp is perfect for ages: 18+

The overarching objective of this three-module course is to facilitate the learning of anyone who seeks to promote health and wellness in Anishinaabe communities. Learners will leave the course with an understanding of Indigenous peoples’ health, culture as a foundation of care, and engagement with practical learning to promote wholistic health and wellness as priority in their work with Indigenous peoples.

Learners will earn a digital badge for the successful completion of this self-paced online learning opportunity that they can proudly add to their professional portfolios and/or share on social media platforms such as LinkedIn.

Collaboratively developed between Nipissing University and Nipissing First Nation. Funded through the Ontario Government, Ontario Challenge Fund.

This opportunity connects local families to Nipissing University Youth Programs and builds partnerships with local organizations.

Handbook

The Parent/Guardian Handbook has been created to provide you with clear guidelines and policies on Nipissing University Youth Programs. We are dedicated to providing community youth high-level, enriched learning experiences in fun, safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments.  This document provides you with information on our refund policies, pick-up/drop-off practices, health & behaviour policies, staff-screening and more.  You can reference this document anytime and/or request a copy through the Office of Extended Learning at extendedlearning@nipissingu.ca.


Parents/Guardians will be emailed 2-4 business days
before their child's camp starts with information on drop-off/pick-up, any specific details pertaining to the camp and reminders outlined in our handbook.


Registration will remain open until the Wednesday before start dates and/or once a program reaches capacity.
